i’m being run over by the train below. At the time of this post I believe to be somewhere around the location of the red arrow. I have the structural portion of the ARE on the 25th and start classes for my CSL on the 28th. That is 7 weeks long and is followed by some sort of kick you in the nuts test followed by the code portion of the ARE. When I graduated high school I knew college was a short time away. When I graduated college it was great....but then there was grad school. It literally never ends. Even when I get my licences I still have yearly upkeep requirements. I also have side projects, and OPPO to browse. I feel like I should have a rally cross Pagani by now.

Also still looking for a >$4k replacement for the WRX for when it leaves to be replaced as a Flex for my wife. A co-worked said I was dumb for wanting an AMC Eagle and the Jag is too far away.

I know the feeling. I was very close to starting law school and now looking back there’s no way I could manage work, family and more school. Hang in there buddy.

Nothing worth putting effort into is easy.

I also started my Masters Degree recently, things are pilling up. But we can do it. As Saldana said, nothing worth putting effort into is easy, and I believe that to be true.

The second unit appears to be A GE Dash 9-44CW series locomotive with about 4400 horse power and the lead unit is a GM EMD (well not GM anymore, but it was when this machine was designed and built) SD-70MAC, also a 4000 horsepower locomotive meaning there is at least 8400hp in action here. With a combined tractive effort of over 200,000 lbft.

This is what they look like (well the kind in use above). That’s why trains start off very slowly. Once those cars are rolling, the force required goes down. Also Engineering witchcraft.
